Personality:Asagi has had a rough life. She has had her game canceled, she was forced to work for a book, and when she thought she might have gotten a game, Baal stole it from her. As such, she thinks the world is out to get her. She is very paranoid, and if she even thinks you are trying to steal her game, or take her role as main character, she will attack you. Though after she loses, she gets depressed and starts crying, saying she will never find her own game, and the programmers are just toying with her, making her a gag character. However, she still has a huge ego, and thinks she is the best thing since sliced bread.

Saying Asagi is obsessed with being a main character would be a huge understatement. Her whole life and existence revolves on her finding her own game and becoming a main character. Because of this, she talks about main characters, plot points, extra bosses, and anything else game related constantly, and anyone who isn't from a world with 4th wall breaking will think she is crazy. She also reads books on how to be a main character, plays games to see how other main characters act and behave , and even tries to hack the programming of the game she is in to max out her levels, all to make her a better main character. She often will reference other games, but they are more like clones of other existing games. An example of this is Asagi went and played some fighting games(most likely a DOA clone) and found that the females should have huge boobs. So she ate a mushroom(a Mario Clone) to make her boobs grow big. This did not work of course.

While Asagi deep down is a good person who just wants her own game, she can have moments when she acts like a bad guy, and just starts bad mouthing other main characters. In Soul Nomad, she acted like a bad guy, because she just thought that maybe she needed to change her image, and a bad ass main character would help her chances in getting her own game. After losing however she drops the act and gets all sad, upset about losing even after destroying the planet. However, she is also very loyal and friendly to people she considers true friends. When Adell beats up Asagi in Disgaea 2 Rozalin comforts her, and Asagi acts like she is her best friend after that. She is also best friends with Flonne because she believes in Asagi and really wants her to succeed. At first she didn’t get how Flonne wanted Asagi to make friends even with the other Asagi’s she was fighting, but in the end she learned that a true main character doesn’t step on others to get what she wants, and reminded her that she should never give up on her dream, no matter what. After Prinny 2 she still has her jerk-ish attitude and still tries to take games, but she isn’t being evil about it like in Soul Nomad.

Asgai also is seen to have moments when she flips out, and starts letting all of her anger out at people. In the Prinny game, she had a Brooklyn accent when this happens, and would badmouth the main character, the game itself, and even the people playing the game. After a few moments of this, she reverts to her regular speech, confused on why she talked that way, and worried if this is something new to make her a more of a gag character. She mainly gets angry if someone points out how crazy she is acting, if she thinks you are a threat to your main character status or her game, when she loses a fight, or if she gets frustrated that she when she fails at something.

Underneath Asagi’s huge ego is a sad, depressed girl. This mainly shows after her plans fail once again to have her own game or get the main character role. Deep down she is quite insecure, always failing to become main character and being referred to as a gag character has done that to her. She doesn’t want to grow old and die as a gag character. So when Asagi gets upset, she really gets upset. To try and overcome those insecurities, she gives herself a huge ego, and tries everything and anything to become a main character, though she does have some standards. However. this is a vicious cycle, since when she ultimately fails, she feels even worse.

Asagi is quite powerful in her own right, and has a lot of skills. She has good hacking skills, is a master of gun play, very fast and strong, can operate the most powerful spaceship in the known universe, and also is good at making costumes. She is also very heroic when she gets a chance to be, and is a very nice and good person, though all the crap she goes through and her attempts to get her own game overshadow these facts. In fact, she even sacrificed her own life to save to world after she became a Prinny. After the credits it is shown she is back in her human form, most likely due to her selfless sacrifice.

The order that her game appearances take places are: Makai Kingdom, Phantom Brave, Disgaea 2, Soul Nomad, Disgaea 3, Prinny 1, Prinny 2, Zettai Hero Project, Disgaea Infinite, and then Disgaea 4.

Asagi was wandering the game universes on her Super Battleship Yoshitsuna when she discovered the Academy. Curious, she lands, and is greeted by the master hand. She was about to challenge him for control of this game when he explains where she is. Excited, she quickly signs up. She plans to use this academy to learn as much as she can on being a better main character, as well as try to take that role from several of the students. She leaves her starship parked out behind the school.

Anything Else?:Asagi knows of many different video game characters, but because Nippon Ichi didn't want copy right infringement, these other characters exist as clones of actual ones, such as the Super Gina Sisters or Unending Fantasy. She will recognize people her, but as their clone versions. Also, she has convinced herself that she is the main character, or deserves to be the main character, and this will have her clash with people at times. She also believes that she is in a game, and keeps talking about how programmers, designers, and companies have screwed her over. I will make a permission post of course.

The Super Battleship Yoshitsuna, the most powerful ship in all the Netherworlds is parked high above the school grounds of Smash Academy. On board, a stream of light appears on deck, as it’s captain beams aboard. The captain, Asagi, fully materializes, and a big smile appears on her face. She does a spin and skips towards the captain’s chair.

“This is it Asagi,” she says to herself as she takes her seat and the controls come to life. “Fate has shown you the path towards your game! This school is perfect. I can watch and study many video game characters at once without having to jump to their game and become another secret boss.”

The spaceship starts to enter the atmosphere. “Plus, they can’t hide behind that stupid plot shield here. I’ll wait for the perfect moment and then, BAM, I am the new hero of carrots, or whatever they are. Nothing is stopping me from taking their role as main character!”

The ship soon reaches the Academy, and pulls towards the back where that hand told her she could park. There, 2 other ships are parked, blocking the middle spot. Asagi is not amused. “Who the hell parks like that?! I mean, look, they are both outside their space, and left no room for my own ship! I should just blast them to pieces…”

Asagi pauses and thinks. “No. A hero would not blow up a ship like that, plus it would make me look bad before even arriving.”

Asagi starts to type on her computer, and easily hacks the school registry. “Let’s see… they belong to a person named Bowers, and Dr. Robotnik. They seem to be villains in their games.”
Asagi smirks, and then presses a button. The ship lowers itself until it is right above the tiny spot. Then, 2 clamps come out and push the other ships violently to the side, scratching them terribly. Asagi then lands her ship in the space below. “There we go. Now I must go meet my new classmates, and take my first step towards my very own game!”

Asagi jumps out of her chair and makes a pose. A white light hits her again, and soon she is teleported off the ship.
